Getting a Library Card

Lansing Community Library shares its card catalog with 40+ other libraries in the Northeast Region of Kansas. If you have a library card with any the other participating libraries (list of member libraries), you do not need to apply for a Lansing library card.

After filling out the library card application, you will have 2 weeks to come into the library to finish the verification process and to pick your card. You will need to provide proof of current address and a photo ID.

Visit the Card Catalog and sign in to your account. The default login is your library card barcode number which can be found on the back of your card. The default password is the last 4 of your phone number. Once you login to your account, you may change your password.
