We offer a variety of programs throughout the year for people of all ages. We do have ongoing reading challenges that include reading and activities to earn badges, maintain participation streaks, and earn prizes. This is also where our Summer and Winter Reading Programs can be found. You can find this in our Beanstack Portal.

To stay up to date on all of the current activities, visit our calendar. Many of our past programs have been recorded and can still be viewed by visiting the Lansing Community Library Academy.

For adults:

  • Book Club - We meet on the last Thursday of each month except in December. We read a variety of genres and enjoy a lively discuss about the books selected by the group. Find out more by visiting the book club's portal.
  • Crochet Club - Come to the library to learn how to crochet! We meet on the 2nd Wednesday for adults who want to learn to crochet, get advice on a project they're working on, or just want to crochet and chat with others who love the craft. Crochet hooks and yarn will be provided for those needing supplies. If you want a refresher of what was covered in the first meeting, you can view our YouTube playlist here.
