Lansing Library Card Application
To apply for a library card at Lansing Community Library, fill out the form below. This is the first step in the process to receive a library card. You will need to come into the library to finish the application process by providing proof of current address and a photo ID within 2 weeks of the application date.
To be an eligible borrower:
- Any resident of the area included within the Northeast Kansas Library System (NEKLS) is eligible for a library card at no charge.
- Patrons must present photo ID with a current address or an ID and something that verifies a current address, such as a recently received piece of mail, checkbook or a lease.
- Patrons under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian.
- A valid library card or other acceptable form of identification must be presented to borrow materials.
- Library cards are non-transferable. Each eligible borrower must apply for and use their own library card.
