Library - 1BMN Basehor: The Detective Story

This program will be taking place at Basehor Community Library as part of "One Book Many Neighbors," a collaborative Leavenworth County Libraries Summer Reading Program for adults.

Dr. Julia Bowen, Professor of English at Benedictine College, spent her sabbatical in the fall of 2022 researching the detective story, mystery novel, and detective novel. Bowen will explore the history of crime writing and lead a discussion of the stories you’ve read in Marple.
