LANSING COMMUNITY LIBRARY CELEBRATES STAR WARS
The Lansing Community Library is hosting three out-of-this world events on May 1, 2 and 5 as part of a week-long Star Wars celebration.
Thurs., May 1 will feature the Lansing Fire Department at Storytime beginning at 10:30 a.m. Come dance, sing and read with local helpers and hear some Star Wars stories. On Fri., May 2, the Library will host a screening of Revenge of the Sith beginning at 3:45 p.m. Snacks will be available as well.
Activities culminate with Revenge of the "Fifth." The Library Strikes Back on Mon., May 5 from 4-6 p.m. with visits from Star Wars characters from the Kansas City Rebel Legion Dantooine Base and possibly guest appearances from members of the 501st Legion Explorers Division Firehawk Squad. Adults and children are welcome to participate in this photo op and character interaction opportunity.
