FRIENDS OF THE LANSING COMMUNITY LIBRARY HOSTS 2022 BOOK SALE

The Friends of the Lansing Community Library hosts their annual book sale beginning Fri., April 22, 2022, at 5 p.m. at the Lansing Activity Center gym, 108 S. 2nd Street. Hand sanitizing stations will be available and recommended safety precautions will be in place. “We are happy things have improved enough during this pandemic for us to hold our book sale this year,” said Friends of the Library President Jim Fricke.

The sale begins Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. with a special preview for Friends of the Library.  All Friends of the Library memberships will need to be renewed at the door this year. Memberships can be purchased at the door for the special one-night only Friends Shopping Event for $5 per person or $10 for a family membership.  On Sat., April 23, doors open at 9 a.m. for shopping until 5 p.m. Sun., April 24 is $5 sack day from Noon - 5 p.m. Books can still be purchased individually on that day. Most books are priced in the fifty cents to one dollar range, with a few specially priced. There are about 8,000 books available during the sale.
