Police Reports
Reports may be requested in person or by mail. Requests for copies may take eight to ten working days to process depending upon the nature of the incident and the status of the investigation.
If you are making a request in person, you must provide a state identification card or a driver's license and submit a written request.
If you are mailing in a request you should send in a notarized request to the following location:

Lansing, Kansas 66043
You will need to include a self-addressed, stamped envelope and payment for the report with your request.
Please provide the following information with your request:
- Case number, if available
- Incident Date, Time & Location
- Name(s) of Person(s) Involved
- Type of Report, if known
Fees for Police Reports, Photographs and Videos
- Police Report ~ $3.00
- Photographs ~ $10.00
- Videos ~ $25.00
Requests that require research and additional staff time are subject to additional fees and will be referred to the City Clerk for an Open Records Request.
