2024 LANSING CHRISTMAS CLOSURES - CITY OFFICES; TRASH COLLECTION DELAYED

Christmas Setting

Lansing city offices will be closed on Tues., Dec. 24 at noon through Wed., Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas holiday. City offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thurs., Dec. 26. The Lansing Community Library will also be closed during that time period.

WM/Deffenbaugh trash collection in Lansing will be affected by the Christmas holiday. Trash and recycling will be picked up on Fri., Dec. 27. In addition, up to six (6) additional bags of trash outside the cart (no overage stickers needed) will be collected on Fri., Dec. 27. Please note: no bulky items should be included. WM/Deffenbaugh will collect up to two (2) Christmas trees from each residential unit during the two weeks/two collections following Christmas Day. Christmas trees six feet and taller need to be cut in half.
