INDEPENDENCE DAYS CELEBRATION 2024

Lansing Independence Days 

This event will take place on Sat., June 29, 2024 at Lansing High School, 1412 147th St.

General admission is free; the event starts at 3 p.m. and will feature rides and inflatables for the kids, live entertainment, a variety of food and beverages followed by a spectacular fireworks display beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Taking the stage at 3:30 p.m. are Lansing’s own DJs Nick & Tammy Dominguez.  Our headliner for the show is the talented and energetic band Sass Monkey, who will perform a selection of your favorite classics and today’s popular music beginning at 6:30 p.m. The celebration offers a variety of food and beverage that feature items such as shaved ice, lemonade, BBQ ribs, brats, turkey legs, hot dogs, Mexican, fried chicken, grilled hamburgers, sandwiches, cotton candy and Dolewhip desserts.  

There will be limited parking on location at the High School. Attendees are encouraged to use the free shuttle service, with park-and-ride locations at the Lansing Intermediate School, 509 Ida St. and the Elementary School, 450 W. Mary St. (MAP)

Victory Pyrotechnics & Special Events returns to Lansing with a custom designed and innovative fireworks display.  The show will feature music, lasers, lights and an impressive display of dazzling fireworks.  The city of Lansing thanks our event sponsors: Greenamyre Rentals, Linaweaver Construction, Exchange Bank and Trust, Amberwell Lansing Clinic and GBA. A special thanks to Lansing USD 469 for their assistance in hosting the event.
