FALL FESTIVAL SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 9
After a year off because of COVID-19, the Lansing Fall Festival returns on Sat. Oct. 9, 2021. This year’s event takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along and near Angel Falls Trail, located by St. Francis de Sales Church, 900 Ida St. Admission is free.
Attendees will enjoy a variety of fall specialties: pumpkin decorating at the amphitheater, craft vendors and several performers. Acts scheduled this year include musical talent Shayla Shyann, who opened up Lansing’s Independence Day celebration this year. Ry Kinkaid is also performing again at our Fall Festival event, as is harpist Wujeong Duncan, located at the scenic bridge along Angel Falls Trail. There are activities for all ages. A caricature artist is scheduled to entertain attendees as is a balloon artist and face painter; several kid-friendly rides and bounce house rides are also expected onsite.
Shuttle service will be available from the Lansing Elementary School (450 W. Mary St.), in the southwest parking area. Attendees are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the free shuttle service. Additional parking is available along W. Mary St.
The Lansing Community Library and the Activity Center will be closed on Sat., Oct. 9 in support of this event. Please note: The Lansing Fall Festival will take place rain or shine.
