SPRING EQUINOX - MARCH 20, 2025
The Spring Equinox marks the first day of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere.
During an Equinox, the Earth's axis is perpendicular to the Sun's rays, resulting in nearly equal hours of sunlight across the globe. In essence, day and night are roughly of the same duration. This phenomenon is referred to as an "equinox," a term derived from Latin that translates to "equal night." - timeanddate.com
