Garage / Yard Sales

No permit fees are required for garage / yard sales within residential areas. Signs for sales are permitted on private property only and must be removed promptly after the garage / yard sale is over.

Please note: the sale of used or second-hand merchandise shall be permitted in any residential district or by non-profit organizations, provided that such use shall not exceed three (3) consecutive days in duration nor shall it occur more than two (2) times in a consecutive twelve (12) month period at any particular location. Such sales shall be only for the purpose of disposing of personal property.
