Transient Vendor/Solicitor/Door to Door Sales Information

No transient vendor, merchant, solicitor, door to door salesperson(s), or peddler shall engage in such business within the corporate limits of the City without first obtaining a license.

• Any person going door to door must submit an application along with a valid photo id.
• Completed applications must be submitted at least 2 business days prior to the start of soliciting- NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Applications must be submitted In-Person as a photo of the person is taken at the time of submittal.
• All approved Transient Vendors will be supplied with a City Issued Transient Vendor badge to wear at all  times while soliciting in Lansing, Kansas.
• We offer a 3 day ($25 per person), 7 day ($60 per person), and 1 month ($125 per person) license.
