Project 2023-04 Centre Drive Improvements
NOTICE TO BID
Sealed proposals will be received by the Governing Body of the City of Lansing, Kansas at the office of the City Clerk, Lansing City Hall, 800 First Terrace, Lansing, KS, 66043. Proposals will be received until 1:30pm on the 30th Day of August 2023 for the construction of “City Project #2023-04, Centre Drive Improvements”, at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
PRINCIPLE ITEMS OF PROJECT
Base Bid – All qualities outlined in the bid form for the following street sections identified in these documents and on the provided Construction Drawings.
- Removal and Replacement of Decorative Street lighting with Owner supplied poles and luminaires.
- Removal of existing island and replacement with asphalt pavement.
- Improvements to the 4H & Centre Drive intersection
- Pavement Markings
Bids must be submitted on forms attached to and made a part of the contract documents. Bidders have two options to choose from as a method for submitting said bid: 1) Bidder may write/type all required information in the Specification Book and submit the entire book, or 2) Write/type all required information using the enclosed forms to complete your bid and submit all the forms in lieu of the entire book. Please ensure that you comply with all provisions regarding Bid Bonds, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Title VI requirements, and all other bidding conditions. Plans, specifications and other contract documents are on file with the Public Works Department. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and addressed to the City Clerk of Lansing, Kansas. The name of the bidder and the City Project Number shall be clearly written or typed on the envelope. The City of Lansing reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids.
The City of Lansing assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age or low-income status as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 (P.L. 100.259) be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity. A certified check, cashier’s check, or acceptable bid bond must accompany all bids for not less than 5%
