LANSING WELCOMES NEW CITY CLERK

The city of Lansing has hired Tish Sims to be its new City Clerk. Sims is scheduled to start in Lansing on March 7, 2022.

Sims most recently served as the City Clerk for Hiawatha, Kans. – a position she has held since 2018. Prior to that, Sims was the Deputy City Clerk for Camdenton, Mo. from 2007-2017.

Sims is an active member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and is a four-year graduate of the IIMC Municipal Clerks Certification Institute. She has obtained her Missouri Registered City Clerk (MRCC) certification.

Sims volunteered for more than ten years at Potter’s House of Camdenton as a sound technician. More recently she served on the Brown County (Kans.) Historical Board.
