Processing

If any of the violations you are charged with are considered Class A or B misdemeanors, and you were not formally arrested and taken to jail at the time of the offense, then you will need to be fingerprinted on your court date. After you speak with the judge, the court security officers and/or court clerk will ask you to step to the side of the courtroom and wait for an officer to escort you for fingerprinting. This procedure is very common and not a cause for concern.
