On behalf of the city of Lansing, Kansas, we would like to welcome you to "the City With a Future." We are truly proud of our rapidly expanding community. We welcome all visitors, new residents and businesses which choose to become part of this great community. 

Lansing is located only 25 minutes from Kansas City International Airport and 15 minutes from a major interstate highway. Lansing has a small town atmosphere with large city accessibility.

There are several housing development projects underway with a vast array of pricing and styling. Complimenting these enhancements is the excellent school system serving this community. Lansing voters approved building a new multi-million dollar state-of-the-art high school that opened for the 2015-2016 school year.
