2025 Lansing ROW Seasonal Mowing
The City of Lansing, Kansas is accepting bids for the mowing of approximately 12.5 acres of city maintained right of way.
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS
All interested bidders are required to submit two copies of their bids. Submittal requirements and criteria for the bids are described herein. The City will evaluate the bids received and determine the best overall bid for this project. Bidders are encouraged to schedule visits with each location to familiarize themselves with the specific requirements of each location. Site visits are not mandatory but are strongly encouraged.
Bid Requirements:
Submit email or in-person copy of the completed bid from. Ensure that the project title, the date, and time the proposal is due, and the name and address of your company are included on the front of the bid packet. Bids must be received by the City Clerk on or before Wednesday 1:30pm, April 9, 2025, at 800 First Terrace, Lansing, Kansas 66043, Attention: Public Works – Mowing Bid. Bids must be signed and dated, and all bid prices must be filled in. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days. The City of Lansing, Kansas retains the right to accept or deny any bid for any reason, and to award a contract for services the City deems best suited for the use intended. This contract will be for one year, with two possible service extensions.
An optional Prebid meeting will be held on Wed, April 2, 2005 at 10am at the Lansing City Hall Council Chamber - 800 1st Terrace, Lansing KS 66043.
NOTE: All vendors shall be required to be licensed by the City Clerk’s office for work of this type.
Questions, Clarifications and Addenda:
The proposed locations are open for public viewing at anytime. Bidders requiring clarification shall direct all communication in writing by email to Michael Spickelmier, Public Works Director, (913) 727-2400 or email mspickelmier@lansingks.org The subject of all email shall include “Lansing 2025 Seasonal Right of Way Mowing” All requests for clarification shall be received no later than scheduled pre-bid meeting. Interpretation and modification of the bid packet will be by addenda only. Oral responses, interpretations, or modifications given by other means are not binding. Addenda will be delivered by email to all bid holders. Please provide company name, contact name, address, phone number, fax number and email address.
